I just updated my bio.  Let me tell you, that’s one of the hardest things to write!  A good bio gets across alot of information, but in a way that helps you understand and connect to the artist at the same time.  It sets the tone for how people see you.  It’s a rather intimidating thing.

I had a bio on the site (and everywhere else), but I didn’t feel like it really worked.  A good bio also grabs you and keeps your interest.  If it’s only a bunch of dates and events strung together, it’s not very interesting.  But if you have a story or an angle, it makes it readable and interesting.  It makes people want to find out more about you.

So, I had a fit of inspiration a few nights ago and updated my bio.  My wife and I sat down and hammered the rough parts, so I’ve posted it everywhere.  Hopefully it does all those things I mentioned above, if not, let me know so I don’t flounder out here on the internet like an idiot!
