About four years ago, my wife and I decided that we really needed to get out of debt. Debt has affected my life and everything I’ve done since my freshman year of college. That year, like an idiot, I applied for every credit card I was offered and ran them all up. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the discipline to stop myself from spending on them again and again, so I continued having credit card, which prevented me from doing really cool things like touring with friends, taking internships, and having the freedom to do what I want.
This marks a big month for me. It’s been 14 years since I got into credit card debt and now all my cards have a zero balance.

Now, I begin living again!
